Authenticity is "simply" about learning to recognize who we really are - in the deepest sense - and working to bring that being, those values and associated behaviours into everything that we do.


There are 6 traits that I believe encompass what Authenticity is about:

  1. Discovering our purpose, and developing a passion for it

  2. Learning to recognize and stand in our values

  3. Leading with the heart, compassion to others and ourselves

  4. Developing enduring, connected and meaningful relationships

  5. Practising Self discipline, consistent behaviours

  6. Developing the Awareness of ourselves

No 6 being the Foundation!


The other important thing is that this is for everyone - not just recognized "leaders" - as everyone can be invited to practice these traits to lead themselves to wherever they want to go.

Totally agree, an integrity driven organization, where all stakeholders are operating from a servant leadership mindset that is ethical, transparent, aware, and co creative, where all are stewards not only to the business, but also the economy, that believe in social responsibility in the true sense of the word, with a wider global view required for sustainability for all stakeholders on the planet.
